Today i’m going to show you 10 great accessories that won’t break the bank. So let’s get started!

Today i’m going to show you a few items that i think all drone owners might be interested in.

Some of these are for specific drones a lot of them are actually for the mini or the mini 2 but some of them can be used with any kind of drone .

Photography gloves from PGY Tech

I am going to start right away with my favorite of the bunch and that is these photography gloves from PGY Tech. These are specifically designed by PGY Tech for cold and wet climates.

They are super comfortable and stylish they’re made out of 3m thinsulate and they have this special insert called hypora i think that’s how you say it which allows them to breathe so your hands don’t get sweaty.

They are touch enabled so you can use them on your mobile device but they really are designed to snap the fingertips back and use that way.

They come in three different sizes and the large size costs just $36 right now.

For the Mavic mini and the mini 2

Next i have three accessories that are specifically designed for the mavic mini and the mini 2 and they are also all from PGY Tech.

Compact landing pad

First is this compact landing pad it’s just the right size for the mini and the mini 2.

It’s double sided it comes with stakes which i do recommend using because this will blow away on windy days but the benefit of this it’s very lightweight and it fits into just about any bag.

They also have another larger landing pad that can be used for the larger drones like the Mavic 2 pro or the Mavic air II and that one is the cardboard style the folding style and both that one and this one run about $17.

You don’t want that dirt blowing into your drone so it’s a great idea to have a landing pad with you all the time .

Lens hood for the Mavic mini and the mini 2

Next this is a lens hood for the Mavic mini and the mini 2 and it’s a great replacement.

If you ever happen to lose your original lens hood and the benefit of this one is actually you can leave it on your drone. So if you happen to forget to take it off when you launch no worries.

And then also even if you have this on the mini 2 it still only weighs 241 grams which is still below the requirement of having to register it with the FAA.

And it’s on sale right now for less than $9.

Propeller holder for the Mavic mini 2

Now the last thing that I want to show you from PGY Tech right now for the Mavic mini 2 is this propeller holder.

It’s made of silicone. It’s easy to install and remove and it comes with a lanyard so you can carry around your drone with it.

If you have the mini i do highly recommend this. But if you have the mini 2 and you still have the propeller holder that comes with that one that one is great .

If you happen to lose it this would be a good replacement it runs about $13 right now on amazon.

ND filters

The next item that i would highly recommend if you want to see a smile on your drone fans face is to get them a set of nd filters for their drone.

This set right here is the all day eight pack from freewell gear which covers just about any situation you will encounter in the sky.

It comes with three ND filters the ND4 the eight and the sixteen a circular polarizer filter and then four ND polarizer filters.

This set right here is specific to the Mavic mini and the mini 2 but you can get these for just about any drone.

I mostly use freewell gear filters because they are incredibly accurate and they’re appropriately priced but PGY Tech and polarpro are also great brands to consider.

The pricing really varies depending on what sits you get and which drone you have but these are nd filters are the number one investment.

Lume cube lights

For anyone wanting to get amazing looking video from their drones next i’d like to show you a couple of lights. Both of these are from lume cube and they are very useful and high quality.

First one is the lume cube strobe.

This can be used on any drone and the purpose of this light is to adhere to FAA standards as far as having anti-collision lights on your drone when you fly at night.

And yes you can fly at night as a recreational drone pilot in the us.

But you do need a certain kind of light installed the strobe is that kind of light.

It’s super bright can be seen for up to three miles and it’s really lightweight and it can be transferred from one drone to another.

And it’s on sale right now on the loom cube website for just $31.

Another one from lume cube is the lume cube 2.0 this versatile little light is virtually unbreakable it’s weatherproof it’s super bright the battery life is awesome it’s adjustable and i use it for so many things.

You can mount it on a quarter 20 connector on top of your Mavic 2 series for light painting or some creative lighting techniques.

Or you can get two of them and mount them using the special mounting bracket for the Mavic 2s from lume cube.

And the best thing about this light is that it has so many uses even outside of using it on your drones.

Shell storage case solution

Next thing i want to show you and it’s probably one of my favorite products for 2022 that i had the opportunity to check out and use and it’s my favorite hard shell storage case solution.

These were actually brought to my attention by a viewer this past fall and i’m so grateful to him thank you so much.

It’s the nanuk drone storage cases now this one right here is the 909 this one’s specifically made for the Mavic mini .

Watch that they are so amazing they’re sturdy they’re made of really high quality materials all the way around.

Tablet holder

Next I want to show you the perfect tablet holder for any drone pilot and it’s the standard pad holder from PGY Tech.

It works with every drone that i have including the newly designed dji controllers for the Mavic air 2 and the mini 2.

It’s lightweight it folds up nicely and it’s very affordable at just $18 right now.

If you have a drone pilot that flies with a tablet they need one of these.

I have an Ipad pro 11 inch and it fits perfectly in here and it’s so much more fun flying your drone with a tablet.

Next it’s always nice to have extra props in your bag and i can recommend no others than the master air screw props.

They are engineered for each specific drone they provide longer flight times they’re more efficient for your motors and most importantly they reduce the conspicuous pitch and volume that most drones make.

It’s not just a minor difference these props make your drone less noticeable and these days the less attention you can draw to your drone the better.
